Wire & Cable Management
Wire and cable management is the organization and routing of any cabled material in an enclosed space in order to create a safe and orderly environment. It is typically used in industrial, commercial and residential settings to both protect and organize cables. This may include large-scale projects, such as in industrial warehouses, to smaller DIY projects, such as mounting a television in the home. In the most extreme cases, cables and wires may be organized by compartmentalizing them in wall-mount or freestanding racks. Wire and cable management also includes labeling each cable, not just to inform its purpose, but also to keep it from becoming an electronic or physical hazard. Proper wire and cable management can be used to improve the speed and efficiency of operations as it can prevent problems from occurring such as overheating, short-circuiting, or interference.
