Heat Shrink Tubing and Sleeves

Heat shrink tubing, also known as heat shrinkable or heat shrink sleeves, are a type of protective insulation that is used to cover wires, cables and joints in industrial, electronic and transportation applications. They are also used in telecommunications, automotive, computer and aerospace industries. Heat shrinkable plastic tubing is a tubular plastic sleeve that is shrunk using heat. It can be used to provide a protective covering over wires and cable joints, resist corrosion, and improve the appearance of electrical connections. Heat shrink tubing also provides insulation and prevents moisture, vibration and abrasion from damaging wires and cables. Heat shrinkable sleeves are often used in applications where the application of a protective material would be difficult or not possible. Heat shrinkable sleeves are available in a wide range of materials, sizes and colors, providing flexibility when it comes to insulation.
