Grommets & Bushings

Grommets and bushings are small components used in many different mechanical or electrical applications to reduce friction and noise, provide a seal or cover sharp edges, absorb vibration and provide a sustainable solution for cable management. Grommets and bushings are usually made of rubber, plastic, silicone or metal and are designed to fit in an opening created in a panel or casing. The most common application for grommets and bushings is in places where cables and wires need to pass through a panel or in places where there are moving parts. Grommets usually come in a round or rectangular shape and can be self-sealing, while bushings are typically cylindrical and provide a secure fit. Both grommets and bushings are widely used in the automotive, aerospace and electronics industries.
