Audio Cables are cables that help enable the audio transmission between audio devices. Audio Cables usually come in two formats: XLR (balanced) and 3.5mm TRS (unbalanced). Balanced cables reduce the amount of interference and noise that reaches the audio device. Unbalanced cables are ideal for low power applications, such as connecting a microphone to a laptop. Video Cables are cables that enable the transmission of high-bandwidth signals from a video source to a video device. Video cables use a variety of connector types, including HDMI, DVI, S-Video and VGA. Depending on the type of device, the video signals may represent anything from 480p (SD) up to 4K. RCA Cables are a type of electrical cable that carries audio and video signals between devices. RCA cables use a connector that has two prongs: one for left, and one for right. RCA cables are commonly used to connect a TV to a DVD player, or a stereo receiver. They are also used to connect to analogue projectors.
