Pliers & Tweezers
Pliers and tweezers are two of the most common tools found in both professional and home tool kits. Pliers are large hand tools that have multiple functions, including cutting, gripping, pressing, and pulling. The jaws of pliers vary in shape and size depending on their use, such as needle-nose (for detailed manipulation of small objects), end-cutting (for cutting electrical wires and cables), and flat-head (for holding objects in place). Tweezers, on the other hand, are fine instruments designed to grasp, hold, or remove small objects or hairs. They have long, thin arms that come together at a sharp point. Tweezers are typically used for precision tasks such as sculpting, electronics assembly, eye makeup application, and splinter removal.
