EC Fans

EC Fans, or Electronically Commutated Fans, are high-efficiency fans that use a switching power supply to vary the speed by electronically changing the input voltage. Generally, EC fans run quieter and more efficiently than traditional AC fans because of their superior ability to modulate their input power and speed. EC fans are available in a variety of sizes for different types of applications, and can run at varying speeds depending on the installed control electronics and motors. The electronic control of the fan speed provides better regulation of airflow, which is beneficial for cooling applications.
