Force Sensors & Load Cells

Force sensors and load cells are devices that measure force and weight. Force sensors measure force by detecting changes in strain, while load cells measure weights by converting the force exerted due to gravity into measurable electrical signals. Both types of sensors are extensively used in industrial settings to measure forces and weights in many different applications such as hydraulic presses, automated mechanized systems, and more. In addition, force sensors can also be used in medical settings to measure vital signs such as pulse rate and blood pressure. Load cells are most often used to measure weight in a variety of other applications, such as in industrial scales, scale balances, load testing machines, and more.
