RF Receiver

RF receivers are electronic devices that process radio frequency signals and extract the desired information from them. They are typically used to process signals from AM, FM, and satellite radio broadcasts, cordless phones, cellular phones, radio tags, and even television broadcasts. RF receivers generally consist of an antenna, a tuner, an amplifier, and a demodulator. The antenna receives the incoming radio waves and transforms them into electrical signals. The tuner adjusts these signals to the proper frequency, while the amplifier increases their strength. The demodulator extracts the desired information from the signal. Finally, the receiver produces the output in an understandable form, which can be things like audio, digital data, or a display.
