Logic Gates

Logic gates are electronic components that can be combined to produce output signals based on a set of input values. These output signals can be used to control and control electrical systems. Logic gates are used in almost all electronic devices, such as computers, televisions and calculators. They are essential components in the world of digital circuitry and computing. Logic gates have several different inputs and produce an output based on those inputs and certain logic functions. There are seven basic logic gates, including AND, OR, NOT, and XOR. Each gate has its own unique function when used together. AND gates will only output a “1”, for example, if all of its inputs are “1”s. OR gates will output a “1” if at least one of its inputs is “1”. NOT gates, also known as inverters, will output the opposite of its input, while XOR gates will output a “1” if one, but not both, of its inputs is a “1”. Logic gates are used in countless applications and are essential components of modern digital circuitry.
