Processors - Application Specialised

Processors that are application specialized are processors that are made to run specific software applications. These processors are not as versatile as general purpose processors in that they can't run a variety of different computer applications, but they can run certain software programs more efficiently, as they have been "custom-made" to run those applications. For example, if an organization needs a processor to run a particular software program, they can purchase an application-specialized processor to gain the maximum efficiency from running that program. This can save the organization time and money in the long-run, since it will require less power and resources to run.
