CPU - Central Processing Units

A CPU (Central Processing Unit) is the electronic circuitry within a computer that carries out the instructions of a computer program by performing the basic arithmetic, logical, control and input/output (I/O) operations specified by the instructions. The CPU plays a central role in any computer system and is often referred to as the "brain" of the system. It is responsible for executing program instructions as well as controlling the operation of other hardware components. The CPU is the main component of a CPU-based system and is responsible for all calculations, operations, and other tasks that are required to produce the outputs desired by the user. It is the hardware component that makes all of the computation and decisions required by the user.
