About LED Lighting Drivers

LED Lighting Drivers

LED Lighting Drivers are devices designed to provide power to LED systems, such as LED lamps and LED lighting fixtures. They are used to convert the AC power supply into the DC power that LEDs require. Using a driver, the voltage and current running through the LEDs can be precisely regulated in order to provide consistent illumination, as well as different dimming and light beam effects. LED lighting drivers also help to protect LEDs from power surges, overloads, and short circuits. Drivers can be built into the LED system, and come in a range of wattages to be compatible with different size LED systems.
