Clock & Timer ICs

A clock and timer integrated circuit (IC) is a piece of circuitry that is used to measure the length of time an event or process takes to occur. This type of IC includes a built-in clock that can be set to measure the time interval, allowing it to time processes ranging from milliseconds to days.
