Audio ICs

Audio ICs, or integrated circuits, are a type of semiconductor that are specifically designed for audio applications. They handle all the processing of sound-related signals in audio devices, from amplifying output levels to decoding digital signals from CDs or MP3 players. These ICs are also used in sound-reproduction systems, allowing sound engineers and producers to manipulate sound properties such as tone, frequency, and volume. Audio ICs range from high-end analog audio processors to dedicated microprocessors and digital signal processors.
