LCD Gamma Buffers

LCD gamma buffers are a component in a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) used to adjust the tone or contrast of the LCD's picture. They store the gamma or contrast values for each of the red, green, and blue components of a pixel, and are used to apply gamma correction to the image before it is displayed on the LCD. Gamma buffers can be used to reduce the amount of digital distortion that appears on the display and improve color representation. They also help make the LCD more resistant to flickering, as the gamma buffer can help maintain a consistent picture even with changing lighting.
