Metal Foil Resistors - Through Hole

Metal Foil Resistors are a type of resistor that uses metal foil as a resistive element. Metal foil resistors are a type of precision resistor because the resistance is uniform over a broad temperature range, and they are highly accurate. They are also known for their high stability, low noise, and high power ratings. The resistive element of the metal foil resistors consists of two metal foil strips that are treated with a Resistive Material, usually tin-oxide. The foil strips are sandwiched between insulating layer and bonded between two electrodes. The resistance of the metal foil resistor is determined by the length of the foil strips, their thickness, and the resistor material used. Metal Foil Resistors are available in a variety of sizes and shapes, and they can be used in a variety of applications, including low-voltage circuits and high-frequency circuits.
