Current Sense Resistors
Current Sense Resistors (CSR) are components used for sensing and measuring the current in a circuit or system. They are resistors that have a very low resistance value so as to produce a small voltage signal for controlling the current in a circuit. The current through the resistor will cause a voltage drop across the resistor which can be measured and used to determine the amount of current in the system. CSRs are available in various sizes, working ranges, and accuracy levels, and are used for a variety of applications, including power distribution monitoring, motor control, electronic lighting and voltage supervision.
