Feed Through Capacitors

Feed through capacitors are specially designed capacitors used to minimize the signal noise within a signal path. They are typically used in high frequency signal paths to reduce signal losses due to impedance mismatches or other similar circuit disturbances. These capacitors are placed across signal paths in order to maintain constant impedance and to reduce or eliminate any unwanted or stray noise. Generally, they are used along transmission lines as they act as filters to prevent high frequency noise from entering or exiting the system. They also help in improving signal quality and reducing signal distortion. Due to these characteristics, feed through capacitors are essential components in high-performance electrical and electronic systems.
