Ambient Light Sensors

An ambient light sensor (ALS) measures the ambient light intensity or illumination around a device. This sensor is most commonly found in smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers, but it can also be found in other embedded systems. Its purpose is to adjust the display brightness based on the amount of light in the environment. This allows for comfortable viewing in any lighting condition.
