LED Lighting Lenses

LED lighting lenses are designed to control, direct, and focus the beam of light produced by an LED light source. The optics in the lenses manipulate the light produced in order to provide a wide range of features, such as beam angle, intensity, and color. By manipulating the light produced, LED lenses can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of each application. Due to the ability to tailor LED lenses, LED lighting provides LED designers with considerable control over the end result, making LED lighting a versatile illumination option. LED lenses use many unique technologies, such as total internal reflection, diffraction, and refraction, to carefully control the light produced by LED light sources. These technologies allow LED lenses to produce a wide range of features, such as enhanced beam angles, improved focusing, and increased intensity. As such, LED lenses can be used to create lighting systems with extremely specific and tailored light output.
