Lamps

Lamps are a type of electronic component that convert electrical energy into light. They consist of a glass or plastic enclosure, a filament, and a base with electrical connections. The filament is typically made of tungsten, a highly resistant material that heats up when an electric current passes through it, producing light. Inside the tube, an electric current flows through mercury vapor, producing ultraviolet light that is then converted into visible light by the fluorescent coating on the tube.LED lamps use a semiconductor material to produce light when an electric current passes through it.
