Unmanaged Ethernet Switches

The PHY chips are responsible for converting the digital signals into analog signals that can be transmitted over the network. The buffer memory is used for temporarily storing data packets and managing data flow between devices. The interfaces, such as copper or fiber, are used to physically connect the switch to the network.
