Routers

A router is a device that connects networks together, typically in the form of a box with multiple ports or antennas. It is used to pass data from one network to another, allowing for different networks to communicate with each other. Routers are used in both wired and wireless networks, and they allow data to be directed between different computers in both directions. Routers can be used to create a secure connection between two networks and provide network-level access control, allowing users to access different networks as well as filtering out malicious traffic.
