System A programmer-processor based system is a type of computer that uses the programming language of a processor to set up and execute various instructions. The processor is the brain of the system, carrying out all the necessary computations. Programmers usually write code in a language that is understandable by the processor in order to control how the system operates. This code is loaded into the processor’s memory and used to create an assembly-language program which contains a detailed set of instructions for the processor to follow. This set of instructions will tell the processor exactly what operations to perform in order to solve the problem given.
