Tactile Switches

Tactile switches are switches that allow a user to control a circuit using a physical button. They are used in many electronic devices and most commonly seen in computer keyboards. Tactile switches work in a similar way to traditional push-buttons, with a slider that is pushed down to activate the switch. When the switch is pressed down, it closes the circuit and allows electricity to flow. This allows the device to be activated or deactivated. Tactile switches can be used to power on/off a device, activate a particular function, enter data, etc. The tactile feedback they provide when pressed also makes them easier to use than traditional buttons.
