Slide Switches

Slide switches are a type of electrical switch that works by sliding a small metal or plastic contactor along a conductive track to complete a circuit. The sliding contactor is attached to a lever that allows the user to control when the circuit is complete. Slide switches are a common type of control switch used in many electrical and electronic circuits. They are also found in everyday items such as flashlights, doorbells, and toys. Slide switches can be used to turn power on or off, switch between multiple power sources, control the direction of electrical current, or act as a voltage divider.
