Electromechanical Sensors

An electromechanical sensor uses a transducer to detect a physical change in the environment. When a change occurs, it detects the change and converts it into an electrical signal. This signal is then received by electronics and the output signals can be further processed to take a variety of actions. The applications for electromechanical sensors range from industrial automation to sensing environmental conditions. They are commonly found in machinery, vehicles, and other devices as part of safety systems and operational control. They can detect changes in temperature, pressure, acceleration, vibration, position, and more.
