D-Sub Adapters & Gender Changers

D-sub adapters, also known as gender changers, are used to connect two cables or replace a damaged or missing connector. These adapters allow different devices to be connected with a single adapter while maintaining the original gender of each device. Common types of adapters are male to male, female to female, and male to female. Male to male adapters allow two male-ended cables to be connected, female to female adapters allow two female-ended cables to be connected, and male to female adapters allow one male-ended cable to be connected to one female-ended cable. D-sub adapters are typically used in data transfer, audio and video connections, and other computer connections.
