Standard Circular Connectors
Standard circular connectors are round-shaped ports that are used to transmit electrical signals from one device to another with a minimal amount of loss. They are most commonly used to connect two electrical devices together, such as a computer to a peripheral device. The circular connector consists of two metal rings with metal contacts called pins, which form an electrical connection when the two metal rings are engaged. The connectors are generally interchangeable which makes them ideal for a variety of applications. They are generally colour coded and can be found in various sizes and styles.
