Card Edge Connectors

Card edge connectors are electrical connectors which are used in PCBs (printed circuit boards). They are the connectors that are found along the edges of a Printed Circuit Board, and are used to connect electrical and electronic components on the board. Card Edge Connectors are designed to provide a secure and reliable connection for components on a PCB. They can be used for power, ground, and other input or output signals from a PCB. Card Edge Connectors typically have metal pins or contacts which are arranged in a row. These connectors are available in a variety of shapes and sizes, depending on the application requirements. Additionally, various types of card edge connectors have been developed to meet different application requirements. For example, some card edge connectors have built-in features such as shrouded connectors, floating contacts, plastic clips and more.
