Board to Board & Mezzanine Connectors

Board to board connectors and mezzanine connectors provide a physical connection between two printed circuit boards (PCBs.) Board to board connectors are usually used to connect two separate boards, such as the motherboards in a computer system. Mezzanine connectors provide a more specialized type of connection that is usually found in embedded systems. These connectors are used to provide the structural support and the electrical connections between two boards on the same circuit board. Both types of connectors provide physical and electrical stitching between the boards, allowing data and power to be routed to their respective destinations.
