About Backplane Connectors

Backplane Connectors

Backplane connectors are connectors that allow communication between different circuit boards. They are typically used in larger electronic systems to connect multiple circuit boards together and allow communication of data and power between them. They are made up of multiple rows of small pins that connect to conductive contacts on the circuit board. Backplane connectors can be configured in various ways to improve system performance and allow for a greater degree of flexibility in system design.
