Fuses with Leads - Through Hole

Fuses with Leads Through Hole are a type of fuse that features two metal strips and a lead. The lead is made up of a metal conductor and can either be soldered directly to the circuit board, or else crimped or welded onto a connector. This type of fuse is usually used in automotive and other mobile applications, since it provides a reliable connection that can be easily connected or disconnected. The metal strips are designed to melt when an over-current is detected, thus stopping the flow of electricity and protecting the components in the circuit. The leads of this type of fuse remain connected when the fuse is triggered, so that power can be quickly and easily reconnected once the fault has been rectified.
