Mobile modules are small, self-contained pieces of software designed to provide a specific set of features or functions that run on a mobile device or platform. Mobile modules are designed to be used on any mobile device, regardless of its operating system, and typically come pre-installed, or can be downloaded from an app store. They are sometimes referred to as “add-ons” or “plugins” as they are usually added onto a platform or mobile device to enhance its functionality. Modules provide users with a wide range of features and functions to make their experience with their device more productive and enjoyable. Mobile modules can be used to access additional features on a device such as an enhanced security, enhanced customer support, location-based services and more. These modules can be used to access a company's customer information and analytics, give customers access to features like mobile banking, track detailed usage reports and more.
