It offers human-machine interface solutions, such as control switches, emergency-stop pushbutton switches, and pilot lights; and safety/explosion-proof solutions, including interlock switches, safety laser scanners, control boxes, and explosion-proof equipment. The company also provides automation solutions comprising programmable controllers, operator interfaces, photoelectric switches, and auto-ID devices; panel solutions consisting of control relays, terminal blocks, switching power supplies, and other control panel equipment, as well as industrial LED illumination units; and power conditioners, fine bubble generators, collaborative robot systems, and mega-solar projects. It primarily operates in Japan, the Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America. The company was formerly known as Izumi Denki Co., Ltd. IDEC Corporation was founded in 1945 and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
