Capacitance Touch Sensor Modules

A capacitive touch sensor module is a type of sensor that uses capacitance to detect the presence or absence of an object. This type of sensor is commonly used in smartphones, tablets, and other electronic devices for touch-based input. The module is typically made up of multiple layers of conductive material, sandwiched between two plates, which act as electrodes. When an object touches the surface of the sensor, a tiny electrical charge is created at the point of contact, which is measured by the module and then used to determine the presence or absence of the object. These modules are usually very sensitive and can detect changes in capacitance even when the object is small or has a low electrical conductivity.
